Mark has always had a drive to work hard. He began working at an auto shop at 14 years old and by 19 years old Mark was part-owner of an auto parts store with his brother, Ron. Working 16 hour days Mark continued to learn and grow his skills within the business industry looking for the next opportunity to come his way.

In 1998, Mark and Ron sold their chain of auto parts stores and journeyed into real estate. A year later they started a race team. With their experience running a business they were able to use their knowledge to develop their racing team into something bigger. As Warnert Racing took off, Warnert Promotions was created to help market the team and events. The relationships and sponsorships they built through their race team network helped build Warnert Companies to what it is today.

To an outsider looking in Mark is a man with many hats and interests, but the answer is simple. When asked why Mark does what he does he said, “I like people, and I like opportunities.”

In 1985, Mark married his wife, Paula. They have been married for nearly 40 years. They have a son, Thomas, who Mark has been able to watch create his own path within Warnert Companies as they work together building their business.
